Norma Jean Mastin Toomey, age 80, of Yarber Way, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, at the Life Care Center of Morehead. She was born July 18, 1932, in Robertson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Eliza Eals Mastin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death one son, William Thomas Robinson, and one sister, Mary Katherine Garrison. Surviving are one son, Gary Wayne Mastin and wife Brenda of Punta Gorda, Florida; three daughters, Patricia Duong and husband Hoang of Lexington, Kentucky, Phyllis Beamon and husband Douglas of Morehead, Kentucky, and Linda Sue Smith and husband Jonathan of Killeen, Texas; one sister, Diane Mastin of Lexington, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren. Norma was an employee at Jockey International in Carlisle, Kentucky, for 14 years and enjoyed reading, sewing, fishing, and gardening. She was a Christian and baptized in the Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Gerald Saunders officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Pallbearers: Hoang Duong, Sr., Hoang Duong, Jr., Raymond Duong, Chris Parker, Chris Beamon, Anthony Beamon, and Jonathan Smith.
