Norma Jean Luman Reeves, age 79, of Maxey Flat Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012, at her residence. Born October 26, 1933, in Fleming County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Hazel Roberts Luman. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Elwood and Stanley Luman. On October 3, 1952, Norma was united in marriage to Ollie Reeves, who passed away on December 31, 1986. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Howard Douglas and Marvina Lewis Reeves and Mark Alan and Dana-Marie Kilcran Reeves, all of Lexington, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Amber; two sisters, Frances Cox of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and Carol Emmons of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; and many devoted nieces and nephews. Norma was a homemaker who especially enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was a member of the Crain Creek Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Harley Sexton, Jr. and Bro. Darry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
