Norma Jean Kidd, age 51, of Highway 711, West Liberty, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born February 27, 1965, in West Liberty, she is the daughter of Mabel Bowling Ratliff and stepfather, Darrell Ratliff of West Liberty and the late Lonnie Kidd. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two uncles, Russell Kidd and Thomas Bowling, and three aunts, Barbara Jean Trent, Rosa Kidd, and Ada Kidd. In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is survived by one son, Derek Kidd (Samantha Massey) and granddaughter, Rebel Kidd, all of West Liberty; three brothers, Robert (Tonya) Kidd and Dwayne Kidd, all of West Liberty and Noah Kidd of Sandy Hook; and two sisters, Christy (Jimmy) Skaggs of Owingsville and Joyce Kidd of Morehead. Also surviving are six nephews, Ryan, Jarrod and Brian Kidd, Jacob Ball, Michael and Ronnie Kelsey; five nieces, Haley Gilliam, Reagan, Jordan, Vanessa Kidd, and Ellen Cobb; stepbrother and stepsister, Curtis Flannery and Marilyn Cobb, both of Indiana; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Norma was a homemaker and formerly worked at KDMK, Viking Food Mart, and Guardian. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Andy Lands and Pastor Lansford May officiating. Burial will follow at the Kidd Cemetery on Highway 711 in West Liberty. Pallbearers will be Michael Kelsey, Ronnie Kelsey, Jarrod Kidd, Ryan Kidd, Anthony Bowling, and Delbert Jennings. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
