Norma J. Humphries McRoberts, age 68, of Dorothy Street, Flemingsburg, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg. Born April 7, 1944, in Fleming County, Kentucky, she is a daughter of Gladys Hatfield Humphries of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and the late Milton Humphries. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Milton Humphries, Jr., and James Robert Humphries. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jerry McRoberts, whom she married March 14, 1963; four daughters, Tammy Doyle and husband Timothy, Amy Workman, and Stacy Powell, all of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Debbie Whiteman and husband Ronnie of Maysville, Kentucky; two sons, Greg McRoberts of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Larry McRoberts and wife Juanita of Cynthiana, Kentucky; thirteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Other survivors include seven sisters, Wanda Maze and Lori Gulley, both of Hillsboro, Kentucky, Wilma Sloas of Ewing, Kentucky, Donna Shoemaker of Poplar Plains, Kentucky, Peggy Humphries and Lisa Williamson, both of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Brenda Pollock of Elizaville, Kentucky; three brothers, Roger Humphries and Ricky Humphries, both of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Donald Humphries of Hillsboro, Kentucky; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Mrs. McRoberts was a homemaker and enjoyed her work as a child care provider for many children in the area. She was a member of Crain Creek Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Bro. Darry Cooper and Bro. Greg Grimes officiating. Burial will follow in Hillsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ricky, Donald and Roger Humphries, T. J. Doyle, Tyler McRoberts, and Ashton Workman. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Hutton Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Kentucky.
