Noah Tufono, age 81, of Forest Lake Drive, Jeffersonville, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018, at his residence. Born September 11, 1936, in McDowell County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late William and Goldie Kennedy Tufono. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Carl, Jack, and William "Bill" Tufono. He is survived by two sons and their wives: Anthony (Veronica) Tufono and Micha (Hazel) Tufono, all of Jeffersonville; six grandchildren: Jessica Tufono, Justin Tufono, Quinton Tufono, Evan Tufono, Kelly (Dillon) Thornberry, and Grace Tufono; and five great grandchildren: Levi Thornberry, Braden Wybo, Jacob Evridge, Kayden Parks, and Vinny Tufono. Other survivors include two brothers: Charlie Tufono and Lewis (Ruby) Tufono, all of Jeffersonville; two sisters: Elizabeth (Everett) Barker of Grant County and Mary Juett of Owen County; and several nieces and nephews. Noah was a well-known carpenter and builder. He loved his family and especially enjoyed "spoiling" his grandchildren. He was a member of Rocky Branch United Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Camargo Church of God with Aaron Conn officiating. Burial will follow at the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. Pallbearers: Quinton Tufono, Evan Tufono, Justin Tufono, Dillon Thornberry, Carlos Tufono, and Ed Parsons. Honorary pallbearers: J. B. Amburgey, Floyd Lawson Jr., Wally Johnson, Jessica Tufono, Kelly Thornberry, and Grace Tufono. Visitation will be 12 noon until 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Camargo Church of God, 4322 Camargo Road, Mt Sterling, KY 40353.
