Nina Anderson Bowman, 85, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the Life Care Center of Morehead. She was born February 23, 1929, in Rowan County to the late Willie T. and Carrie Caudill Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers: Delmar Anderson, Jesse Anderson, Dallas Anderson, Earl Anderson, Roy Anderson and Clester Anderson. Her husband, William (Bill) Bowman, whom she married in 1975, passed away on May 3, 2005. Survivors include her twin sister, Tina (James R.) Ward of Wilmington, Delaware; three brothers, Bill (Faye) Anderson, Lloyd (Donna) Anderson, and Claude (Donna) Anderson, all of Morehead; and numerous nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews. Nina grew up on the farm on Rock Fork Road which she loved very much. She worked there and lived with her parents until her Dad passed away. She then married Bill Bowman and moved to Clearfield. She was a homemaker and worked for Ruth's Day Care for several years. She loved to cook, raise gardens and can. She loved her family so very much and doted on her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Church of God. At her request, there will be an immediate family only service at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. She will be laid to rest at the family cemetery on Rock Fork Road. Pallbearers: Anthony Anderson, Dwayne Anderson, Joe Anderson, Jared Anderson, Ryan Anderson, and Justin Anderson.
