Nicole Monique Lucero, born September 20, 1989, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2021.  She was a great blessing who brought a lot of joy to her family and friends.  Nicole was always too good for this world.  She is greatly loved and will be forever missed.

Nicole is survived by her mother and stepfather, Diana and Charley VanHoozen; her sister and bro, Marissa and Todd Lee; her father, Louie Lucero; her sister, Mary Alice and Cody Sparks; her mamo, Antonia R. Orosco; her uncles, Rey Orosco and Valentin Orosco; and countless other family and dear friends.

Nicole loved writing rap songs and poems and coming up with recipes (she made the best meatballs!).  She also loved playing her banjo, guitars and ukulele. Nicole would spend endless hours watching wrestling videos on her laptop, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, listening to music, and drawing—all at the same time!! To know her, was to love her.

A celebration of Nicole's life will be held for family and friends on Monday, October 18, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
