Naomi Wilson Shultz, age 80, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Ridgeway Manor in Owingsville, Kentucky. She was born March 30, 1929, in Morgan County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Lee and Bertha Prater Wilson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Shultz, and one son, Benny Wayne Shultz. Mrs. Shultz in survived by one daughter, Gail Story and one son, Dr. Alan Shultz, both of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; one brother, Miles Wilson of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren, Sharisee Nelson, Aaron Wehunt, Alayna Shultz, Natalie Shultz, and Dylan Shultz; and one great grandchild, Ciara Wehunt. Mrs. Shultz was the former owner of H & R Block. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2009, at Reid Village Baptist Church with Shad Tibbs officiating. Burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday at Reid Village Baptist Church.
