Nancy VanHoose Turner, age 97, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023, at Masonic Home in Shelbyville, Kentucky.

She was born October 28, 1926, in Ashland, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Lofty VanHoose and Carrie Kirk VanHoose.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Turner, and two brothers, Lofty VanHoose, Jr. and Mant VanHoose; and an infant sister, Nora Evelyn VanHoose.

She is survived by two sons, Michael E. (Judy) Turner of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Charles Edwin (Sandra) Turner of North Fort Myers, Florida; two grandchildren, Darren (Lisa) Turner of Louisville, Kentucky, and Kristi (David) Case of Indianapolis, Indiana; two great grandchildren, Turner and Morgan Case; and other extended family.

Nancy was a homemaker and loved her family.

At her request, there is no visitation.

Private graveside services will be conducted Saturday, November 4, 2023, with Brother Andy Lands officiating at Winchester Cemetery, 625 W Lexington Avenue, Winchester, KY 40391.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
