Nancy Lou Fannin Cooley, age 64, of Rock Fork Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 7, 2013, at her residence. Born January 5, 1949, in Elliott County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Clell and Nancy Jane Simmons Fannin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Lambert and Olive Madge Nantz, and one son, Mark Alan Cooley, who passed away in 2005. Nancy is survived by one son, Michael Anthony 'Mike' Cooley and his wife Leaann of Nicholasville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Cooley of Nicholasville and Victoria Cooley of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; three brothers, Paul Fannin of Spring Lake, North Carolina, Herman Fannin of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and Harold Fannin of Morehead, Kentucky; two sisters, Ruby Dixon of Springfield, Ohio, and Clara Bell Taylor of Morehead, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was a food service manager while residing in Indiana and Nicholasville. After moving to Morehead about ten years ago, she has been a caregiver. Nancy enjoyed her Pug 'doggies' and loved spending special times with her grandchildren, whom she adored. Nancy was a member of the House of Prayer. Funeral services will be conducted at11 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Kenny Cockerham officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Pallbearers: Jeffrey Cooley, Robert Hall, Delmer Hall, Matt Hall, Chris Hall, and Ronnie Fannin. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Wednesday, October 9, 2013, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 11 a.m., Northcutt & Son Interment: Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 2 p.m., Maple Grove Cemetery
