Nadean Plank, age 80, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007, at the home of her nephew and his wife, Tim and Cheryl Plank on Sunset Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky. Born July 4, 1926, in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Jake Plank and Rosa Butler Plank. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Pendland and June Plank, and one brother, Elmo Plank. Survivors include two sisters, Volena Evans and Tina Evans, both of Morehead, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews. Nadean retired from Martins Department Store, where she was an employee for many years, and was a former beautician. She was a member of Adams-Plank Church. Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Adams-Plank Cemetery with Pastor Carlos Bowman officiating. Pallbearers will be Glenn Buckner, Jack Evans, Don Evans, Tim Plank, Joe Planck, and Bob Haney. There is no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
