Myron Chester 'Chet' Logan, Jr., age 28, of Cranston Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2013, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born December 7, 1984, in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of Myron 'Bud' Logan, Sr., and Carla Weaver Logan of Wallingford, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, Chet is survived by his daughter, the joy of his life, Myra Rose Logan of Hillsboro, Kentucky; two sisters, Tanya Weaver and husband Shane of Wallingford, Kentucky, and Karri Rose Logan of Blacksburg, Virginia. Other survivors include his maternal grandmother, Rosie Hattie Steagall Weaver of Wallingford, Kentucky; paternal grandmother, Famie Elizabeth Easton Logan of Morehead, Kentucky; one niece, Shana Kay Weaver and one nephew, Devon Scott Weaver, both of Wallingford, Kentucky; aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. Also surviving are his fianc-e Alisha Moore and soon-to-be stepsons, Cole, Cameron, and Casey Moore of Morehead, Kentucky. Chet was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Estill Carl Weaver, and paternal grandfather, Forest Glen Logan. Chet graduated from Fleming County High School and was a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to his family, he enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, hunting, and archery. Chet attended Charity Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Robert Kidd and Pastor Willis Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Weaver Cemetery in Fleming County. Pallbearers will be Shane Weaver, David Weaver, Nathan Weaver, Jeff Weaver, Frank Weaver, Devon Weaver, and Adam Wise.
