Miranda Sue -Doc- Johnson, age 24, of Fraley Cemetery Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Her longtime companion and fianc- , Clifton R. Jent, also passed away from injuries sustained in the same accident. Miranda was born May 15, 1983, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, and is the daughter of Stanley Robert Johnson and Rita Gilliam Johnson of Elliottville, Kentucky. Besides her parents, she is survived by one brother, Brandon Johnson, and one sister, Melissa Johnson, also of Elliottville, Kentucky, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School, where she was a cheerleader. She was also a licensed day care director. A joint funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery. Uncles Ronnie Johnson, Teddy Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Clifton Gilliam, Harold Gilliam, Todd Cox, Darrell Johnson,John Skaggs, Donald Skaggs, Jr., and Brandon Johnson will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is after 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007, and anytime Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
