Minty Lucille Callahan Bogan, age 82, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born October 23, 1926, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Rosa Creech Callahan. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Ray, Paul, Earl, and Hubert Glen Callahan, as well as an infant brother. Her husband, Wilbert M. Bogan, passed away May 1, 1997. Lucille is survived by one brother, Carl Callahan and his wife Velma of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and several nieces and nephews. Lucille was employed for many years as a ticket clerk for Greyhound Bus Lines in Indiana. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, going out to eat, and sharing life experiences with family and friends. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the Callahan Cemetery at Lawton, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Bobby Callahan, Jerry Callahan, Darby Thomas, Johnny Dean, Donnie Stamper and Brian Stamper. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2009, and anytime Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
