Millard Carl -Red- Gulley, age 84, of U.S. Hwy 60 East, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. He was born April 25, 1924, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Garland and Minnie Lykins Gulley. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Gover and Jewell Banks, and four brothers, Fred, Alvin, Elmer, and Homer Gulley. He is survived by one sister, Wilda Riddle of Morehead, Kentucky; one brother, Garland Gulley, Jr. of Kensington, Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. -Red- was a farmer and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Hayes Branch Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Philip Fraley officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Banks, Billy Brown, Keith Brown, and Michael Gulley. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
