Obituary

Mildred Louise Scott Pack, age 95, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away at her home January 17, 2016. She was born October 15, 1920, in Louisa, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Tazewell and Emma Parmelia Smith Scott. Her husband, Arnold J Pack, preceded her in death on December 14, 1995. Mrs. Pack is survived by two sons, Keith Pack (Lynne) of Clearfield, Kentucky, and Ted Pack (Pat) of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; four daughters, Charlotte Balzer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Linda Clemmons (Jim Tom) of Shelbyville, Kentucky, Debra Seider (Rick) of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Lori Dyer (C. D.) of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; her sister, Billie Jean King of Paintsville, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren, Cassie Belmonte, Todd Balzer, Sherri Balzer, Kim Ravenscraft, Krista Barton, Matthew Pack, Scott Pack, Michael Todd Lambert, James Pack, Bartley Taylor, and Jordan Doyle; and fifteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loyal caregivers, Geraldine McKinniss, Susie Collins, Linda Hardin, and Cathy Christy. Mrs. Pack was the co-owner of Packs' Inc. and Morehead TV Cable. She was a graduate of the Meade Memorial High School in Johnson County, Kentucky, and Booth Business School in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was a member of Tom's Creek United Baptist Church in Tutor Key, Kentucky. Visitation is 5 pm.-9 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Willie Sturgill officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters and her caregivers. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Claire Home Health/ Hospice, 222 Medical Circle, Morehead, KY 40351 or a charity of your choice.
