Mildred Tolson Perry, age 85, of Crique Side Drive, Morehead, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at her residence. Born February 22, 1929, in Wolfe County, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Clara Bowman Tolson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Perry, and eight brothers. Her husband, Denzil B. Perry, passed away February 20, 1984. Mrs. Perry is survived by one daughter, Sandra Potter of Morehead; two sons, William Larry Perry and Danny Adrian Perry and wife Libby, all of Bedford; eight grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Betty Linkous of Rogers and Corrine Lane of Lexington; one brother, Bobby Tolson of Campton; several nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Mrs. Perry was a homemaker, enjoyed watching WLJC, and before her illness enjoyed singing and playing her guitar. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Memorial services and interment will be at a later date at Greer-Cundiff Cemetery at Grassy Creek in Morgan County with Rev. Raymond Vancleave officiating.
