Michelle Carter, age 32, of Haldeman Road, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in Lexington.

Born February 21, 1988, in Rowan County, she is the daughter of Tina Hamm of Soldier and Calvin Carter (Shawna) of Morehead, and the mother of five children. She is also survived by one sister, Allison Walton of Hillsboro, and four nieces, Harlie, Kassie, Skylar, and Raylie.

Michelle was preceded in death by a brother, Brent Carter; an infant sister, Kathy Jane Carter; paternal grandparents, Bob and Dolly Maze; maternal grandparents, Willie and Alice Hamm; and one nephew, Dakota Brent Wayne Carter.

She attended Fleming County High School, was a homemaker, and enjoyed art, music and spending time with family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2021, at the Hamm Cemetery in Soldier.
