Micheal Everett Pence, age 50, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at his sister-s home. Born November 9, 1960, in Morehead, Kentucky, he is the son of Phyllis Messer Pence of Morehead and the late Ollie Hayse Pence. One brother, David Pence, also preceded him in death. In addition to his mother, Mike is survived by his wife, Erin Ishmeal Pence, and three stepsons, Waylon, Caleb and Bo Crawford of Morehead; a son, Scott McClurg of Olive Hill, Kentucky; a daughter, Tara Brooke of Indiana; two brothers, Mark Pence of Morehead and Rick Pence of Wallingford, Kentucky; one sister, Lisa Pence of Flemingsburg, Kentucky; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mike was a former bricklayer and enjoyed being with family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James DeAtley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Pence, Rick Pence, Daniel Boswell, Gary Jones, Jr., Roger Pence, and Gene Netherly.
