Michael Jason Gray, age 35, of Greenfield Circle, Mt. Washington, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born October 8, 1976, in Louisville, Kentucky, Jason is the son of Michael A. Gray of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Deborah J. Whitt Gray of West Liberty, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by one sister, Rachel Basford of West Liberty, Kentucky; maternal grandmother, Viola Frisby Whitt of West Liberty, Kentucky; one niece, Kayla Brown; three nephews, Chance, Caiden, and Braylon Basford; and girlfriend, Angela Burnett and her son Eli. Jason also leaves behind aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Henry and Helen Davison Gray and maternal grandfather, Bernie (Bun) Whitt. Jason loved to make people laugh and was a die-hard fan of NASCAR and U of L sports. He also enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing softball. Jason will be sadly missed and loving remembered by all who knew him. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Jason Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Alonzo Whitt Cemetery in Morgan County, Kentucky. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, Kentucky.
