Melanie Ann Hamilton, age 32, of High Lawn Avenue, Lexington, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015, at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington. Born July 29, 1982, in Alberta, Canada, she is the daughter of Ruby Jansen Hamilton of Lexington, and Paul Hamilton, who passed away March 17, 2013. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children, Ethian Roberts and Serena Roberts, both of Lexington, and Mason Roberts of Kentucky; one sister, Mellisa Hamilton of Parkersburg, West Virginia; paternal grandmother, Helen Roberts Hamilton of Hillsboro; maternal grandparents, William Jansen and Irmguard Dyck of Canada; one nephew, Dylan Roberts; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Melanie was a graduate of Bryan Station High School and a self-employed display marketer. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Filson Cemetery on Lower Rock Lick Road, Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
