Maymie Tabor Browning, age 81, of Mansfield, Ohio, formerly of Carter County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011, at the residence of her daughter, Minnie Hunt, in Mansfield, Ohio. Maymie was born May 2, 1929, in Carter County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Russell and Mary Dailey Tabor. Maymie is survived by ten children: Nancy and Fly Woods of Brooksville, KY and their children, Dale, Ernest Lee, David and P. J. Boggs and Brenda Trent; Mary and the late Luther Hall of Falmouth, KY and their children, Jeff, Russell, Ed and Shorty Hall; Wylie Middleton of Brooksville, KY and his children, Teresa Hall, Michael, Wendell, Jamie, and Jeremy Middleton, Jan Fields and the late James and Wylie Middleton; Joyce Boyce of Mansfield, OH and her children, Ernie Middleton and the late Danny Brown; Reed and Delores Middleton of Falmouth, KY and their children, Kathy Mills, Mary Middleton, Sandy DeLong, and the late Timothy Middleton; Ruby Hess of Mansfield, OH and her children, Tabitha Caskie and Rex Hess; Minnie Hunt and Doug Tallman of Greenwich, OH and their children, Jason and Heather Tallman and Riethie Hunt and the late Bonnie Hunt; Rosanna and Pete Stamper of Mansfield, OH and their children, Gilbert Glen and Nicky Woods and Susan Cooper; Laura Middleton of Mansfield, OH and her daughter, Joyce Ormes; Katy and Jerry Huff of Mansfield, OH and their children, Terry and Reed Ormes. Mrs. Browning also has 78 living great grandchildren and one deceased great grandchild and 25 living great-great grandchildren and 2 deceased great-great grandchildren. Additional survivors include three sisters and one brother: Maggie and Joe Gurule of Arizona; Wylie and Juanita Tabor of Mansfield, OH; Betty and James Littleton of Mansfield, OH, and Joann and Bill Stamper of Mansfield, OH. One brother, Labe Tabor and his wife Juanita, preceded her in death. Ten nieces and nephews also survive, as well as six great nieces and nephews. In addition to being a homemaker, Maymie was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. She was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Rick Pelfrey and Rev. Rick Mosier officiating. Burial will follow in the Tabor Cemetery in Carter County, KY. Pallbearers will be Allen Tabor, Reed Ormes, Dan Tabor, Don Tabor, Bill Stamper, and Doug Tallman. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Tuesday, January 25, 2011, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at 1 p.m. Interment: Tabor Cemetery, Carter County, KY
