Obituary

May Puckett Hall, age 88, of Rawcel Heights, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at the Life Care Center. She was born March 12, 1920, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Martin and Lula Bell Dehart Puckett. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Nora Thurman in 2001 and Wanda Jolley in 1975; five brothers, Bert, Jasper, Elmer, Virgil, and Charles Puckett; and two sisters, Vada Williams and Ruth Saylor. Her husband, Curtis Hall, passed away February 27, 1997. She is survived by a son, Kenneth Lee (Jack) Hall of Indianapolis, Indiana; a brother, James Puckett of Merrillville, Indiana; a sister, Cora Jane Click of Morehead, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Leon Fultz, J. C. Jolley, Jr., Rusty Thurman, and Kenneth Lee Hall, Jr.; two step-grandchildren, Charles and Terry Myers; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two special friends, Virginia Brown and Almeda Brown. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, quilting, and loving her grandchildren. She was of the Church of God faith. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gary McQuain officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn Hall, Bill Hurst, Mark Surber, Travis Jolley, Gary Brown, and J. C. Jolley. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Wednesday, April 16, 2008, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 2 p.m. Interment: Brown Cemetery
