MaryAnne Foley Mills, 90, of Rock Fork Road in Morehead, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 3, 2025.

Born on May 15, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Lucille Lauinger and Peter Foley of Chicago, Illinois. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Fassl, and her brother, Phillip Foley.

MaryAnne is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, James W. Mills, whom she married on February 20, 1972; five sons, Michael Conrad (Sheila) of Round Lake Heights, Illinois, Richard Conrad (Beverly) of Milan, Tennessee, James Conrad of Winchester, Kentucky, Jeffery Conrad of Chicago, Illinois, and Scott Mills (Cat) of Huntington, West Virginia; three daughters, Deborah Ruguone (Noel) of Joliet, Illinois, Cathy Flanagan (James) of Countryside, Illinois, and Jeanette Mills of Chicago, Illinois;15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by three brothers, Terry Shannon of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Robert Haveman of Oostburg, Wisconsin, and John Haveman of Bismarck, North Dakota; one sister, Linda Bologna of Seattle, Washington; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

MaryAnne spent many years managing an apartment complex in Chicago. She loved playing bingo, going to garage sales, cooking (her spaghetti was legendary), and watching hummingbirds. More than anything, she loved her family deeply and unconditionally, especially her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a member of the Morehead Nazarene Church.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Morehead First Church of the Nazarene Church (606 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351) with Pastor Larry Compton officiating.
