Mary Frances Thompson Johnson, age 62, of Lee Branch Road, Morehead, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014, at her home. Born July 28, 1951, in Mt. Sterling, she was the daughter of the late Millard Thompson and Ann Moberly Thompson. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Roger Johnson, whom she wed August 2, 1969, and their daughter, Rebecca Ann Johnson of Morehead. She also leaves behind special friends, Rose Perkins and Alberta Chapman. Mary was a retired CNA and private caregiver, an avid quilt maker, and member of the Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and ministering to others. She was a selfless, very loving woman who will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at the Clearfield Tabernacle First Church of God with Rev. Gary McQuain and Rev. Cecil Ison officiating.
