Mary Ann Smith Ison, age 59, of Pruetts Fork Road, Sandy Hook, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at her niece's home after a brief illness.

Born November 21, 1961, in Oneida, Tennessee, she is the daughter of Ralph Smith of Seamon, Ohio, and the late Shirley Hawn Smith.  Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Faron David Ison, who passed away September 13, 2021.

She is survived by her father and step mother, Ralph and Diane Smith of Seamon, Ohio; one sister, Margaret Smith of Stearns, Kentucky; two special nieces, Chelsea and Josie Smith of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; as well other extended family.

Mary Ann was a caregiver and homemaker. She enjoyed going to flea markets where she would often be a vendor and spending time with family, especially her great niece, Josie.

At her request, there will be no services held.
