Obituary

Mary Ann Rose Lemasters, age 70, of Olive Hill, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, at her home. Mary was born June 25, 1944, in Elliott County, a daughter of the late Ernest William and Grace Lyon Rose. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard, Paul, and Elmon Rose. Mary is survived by her husband, David Lynn Lemasters; two daughters, Wendy Lynn Modica of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Jody Dawn Lemasters of Vinton, Louisiana; and five grandchildren, Katie Delcambre, Tyler Delcambre, Anthony Modica, Cole Walter, and Elizabeth Granger. Also surviving are two sisters, Bonnie Rose of Sandy Hook and Leeda (Colin) Cox of Carlisle; three brothers, Roy (Deloris) Rose, Vernon (Sharon) Rose and Jerry Rose, all of Olive Hill. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed all aspects of farm living, especially her flower beds and vegetable gardens. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Monday, July 7, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Aaron Mansfield officiating. Interment will be in the Clark Cemetery in Elliott County. Pallbearers: Roy Rose, Vernon Rose, Jerry Rose, Jason Rose, Dustin Kelley, and Colin Cox. Visitation will be 10 a.m.to 12 noon Monday, July 7, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
