Obituary

Mary Lou Riggsby Wagoner, age 78, of Clearfield Street, Morehead, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014, at her residence. She was born March 3, 1936, in Elliott County, a daughter of the late Clay Wade Riggsby and Dorothy Jerrals Riggsby. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Wagoner, who passed away June 2, 1996, and one sister, Teresa Rabb of Flint, Michigan. Mrs. Wagoner is survived by one daughter, Judy Johnson and husband David of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Shane Ison, Tara Johnson, William Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, and Angie Johnson; and three great grandchildren, Amia, Liam, and Kara. Other survivors include three sisters, Jean Horn of Flint, Michigan, Nancy Lewis of Troy, Ohio, and Susie Niswonger of Fletcher, Ohio; two brothers, Jimmy Elliott of Durand, Michigan, and Berlin Elliott of Clearfield; and nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Mary Lou was a former employee of Cowden Manufacturing Company and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery. Pallbearers: Marty Johnson, William Johnson, Nicholas Johnson, Ken Burns, Janet Bretland, and Brooks Elliott Visitation is 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Tuesday, December 16, 2014, 5 p.m. Funeral: Wednesday, December 17, 2014, 11 a.m. Interment: Lee Cemetery
