Mary Lou Messer Omohundro, age 80, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Wesley Manor Retirement Center in Louisville. Born April 16, 1938, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late Joseph "Joe" Messer and Dorothy Mae Hill Messer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Maze. Mary Lou is survived by three children, Tony Omohundro (Jackie) of Richmond, Tina Davidson (Hartley) of Taylorsville, and Michael Shane (Kristen) Omohundro of Louisville; five grandchildren, Paige and Phoebe Omohundro, Sawyer and Saylor Davidson, and Emily Omohundro; one sister, Margaret May of Nashville, Tennessee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She received an associate degree from Sullivan University and retired from Hall Contracting in Louisville as payroll clerk. She was of the Christian faith. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Lee Cemetery with family and friends officiating. Pallbearers: Tony Omohundro, Michael Omohundro, Hartley Davidson, Knate Bartosch, Randy Day, Adam Day. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
