Mary Ann Mauk Clark, age 91, of Morehead, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at Maysville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Maysville.

Born June 18, 1932, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late John Mauk and Amanda Victoria Binion Mauk.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Alvin Wayne Clark on April 25, 2018; a daughter, Eva Marie Clark on June 25, 1995; a granddaughter, Darlene Marie Clark in 2001; one brother, Joe J. Mauk in 2010, and one sister, Maxine May Mauk Arnett in 2001.

She is survived by one son, Raymond L. Clark and wife Clara Lee; one granddaughter, Christina Maria Clark, all of Dublin, California; a sister-in-law, Ruth Clark and husband Rutherford of Flemingsburg; several nieces and nephews; and friends.

Mary worked eight years for General Motors in Dayton, Ohio, and was a former food service employee in New Carlisle, Ohio. She was a member of Farmers Christian Church and enjoyed attending church and church functions, and reading. Mary will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:15 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, with Brother Billy Noble officiating at Brown Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, February 2, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
