Mary Catherine Jackson of Wallingford, left this world suddenly on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at UK Markey Cancer Center in Lexington at 58 years of age.

She was born February 3, 1965, in Morehead to Paris Jackson, Jr. of Wallingford and Catherine Kissick Jackson, who preceded her in death on September 10, 2015.

After graduating from high school, Mary completed a bachelor's degree at Morehead State University as well as completing nursing school in Gulfport, Mississippi. She has three children: Michael Farr and Nick Farr (Caitlin Harmon) of Lexington, and Kristina Farr (Brad Fieldhouse) of Louisville.  She was a longtime employee at Davita Dialysis.  Mary's pride was in her clinic, patients, and her beloved colleagues.

Mary loved spending time with her children and her cats.  She was an avid researcher of her family's ancestry and local history.  She loved working on her various quilting projects and restoring antiques of all kinds.  Most of her free time was spent sharing many wonderful stories and pictures with her family, ensuring to pass these precious memories for years to come.

In addition to her father and children, Mary will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Joseph Jackson (Jill), and her sister, Deborah McBrayer, all of Morehead; aunts and uncles; extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Dr. Mike Powers and Brother Scott Cummins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery on Maxey Flat Road.

Pallbearers: Michael Farr, Nick Farr, Brad Fieldhouse, Jon Lovell, Matt Foudray, and Tyler McDaniel.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
