Mary Elizabeth -Fatty- Conley Ream, age 71, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010, at her residence. Born May 9, 1939, at Cogswell, Kentucky, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Hazel Carpenter Conley. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Conley, and her granddaughter, Jordyn Rae Ream. Raised in Kentucky, Mary met and married her husband and together they had four children. In 1967, they decided to relocate to Arizona, where she worked and raised her children. When Mary retired in 2002, she moved back -home- to Kentucky. She enjoyed going out and listening to music and watching people dance. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren. -Fatty- is survived by her former husband, Willis C. Ream Sr. of Overgaard, AZ; her four children: Paul W. Ream of Phoenix, AZ, Pamela R. Ream Johnson of Phoenix, AZ, Willis C. Ream Jr., of Morehead, KY, and Mark W. Ream Sr. of Phoenix, AZ; ten grandchildren: Ember Dunn (Todd) of Nashville, TN, Jayson Johnson, Teryn Johnson-Lies (John), Ashley Ream, Melissa Ream, Mallory Ream, Christopher Ream, Daniel Ream, and Mark Ream Jr., all of Phoenix, AZ, William -Billy- Ream of Morehead, KY; and three great grandchildren: Braydin Moore, Dylan Lies, and Alexander Lies, all of Phoenix, AZ. Other survivors include five sisters: Glenna Mason of Morehead, KY, Nancy Conn of Flemingsburg, KY, Jacqueline Weaver of Flemingsburg, KY, Darlene Johnson of Indiana, and Rhonda Stiddom of Owingsville, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the children request memorial donations be made to St. Claire Hospice, 222 Medical Circle, Morehead, KY 40351.
