Mary Darlene Binion, age 62, of North Tolliver Avenue, Morehead, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead after an extended illness.

Born December 2, 1959, in Knox, Indiana, Mary was a daughter of the late Chester and Helen Gearheart Binion.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Glenneth Binion, and a sister, Nellie Blankenship.

Mary is survived by one sister, Beverly Binion Davis (Randy) of Olive Hill; three brothers, Phillip Binion (Linda) of Indiana, Stephen Binion (Vickie) of Mississippi, and Kenneth Binion (Shelly) of Morehead; and Christopher Mays (Kelly) whom she raised as a son, in addition to nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.

She was an employee of Walmart in Morehead for 13 years and was of the Apostolic faith. Mary was very artistic and enjoyed crafting, making pottery and ceramics, and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Binion officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
