Mary Elizabeth Becker Diamant, age 93, of Old T Gas Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at her home. Born March 12, 1926, in Bronx, New York, she was a daughter of the late Harry Becker and Edna Bilz Becker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Diamant, and a sister, Edna Brodhead. Mrs. Diamant is survived by two daughters, Mary M. Diamant of Morehead, Kentucky, and Susan Diamant of Forestville, California; one brother, Harry Becker of New Jersey; two granddaughters, Kyra Bramble of Hawaii, and Serena Bramble of California; and a special caregiver, Amanda Ferguson of Flemingsburg. She was a retired administrative assistant at Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York, and was active with the Sisters at the Dominican Convent. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Roman Catholic and her faith was very important to her. Mary was a very giving person who always put others before herself. At her request, there will be no visitation.
