Mary L. Adkins Mabry, age 75, of Mauk Ridge, Elliott County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born January 28, 1937, in Carter County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late James Ersell and Mary Greer Adkins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Levona Calhoun, and one brother, Charles Thomas Adkins. Mary's husband of 51 years, Don Albert Mabry, passed away January 17, 2010, and a son, James D. Mabry on April 16, 2010. Mrs. Mabry is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Jeffrey A. and Florenia Mabry of Mauk Ridge in Elliott County, Mark A. and Kelly Mabry of Mauk Ridge in Elliott County, Don A. Jr. and Belinda Mabry of Morehead; and one daughter and son-in-law: Mary L. and Johnny Belcher of Pike County. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren: Jeremiah, Jeffrey, Jessica, Cody, Shawn, Hannah, Chase, Samantha, Andrew, Summer, Sarah, and Chad, and two great grandchildren: Adam and Zachary. Additional survivors include two brothers: Lester Wayne Adkins and James Ersell Adkins, both of Carter County; extended family members; and friends. Mrs. Mabry was a homemaker and member of Little Fork United Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Timmy Porter officiating. Entombment will follow in East Carter County Memory Gardens in Grayson, Kentucky. Pallbearers: Jeffrey Mabry, Shawn Mabry, Jeremiah Mabry, Andrew Mabry, Cody Fleming, Chase Fleming, and Aaron Lewis.
