Marvin Leo Masters, age 81, of Cranston Road, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 8, 2026, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, surrounded by his family and dear friends.

Born July 3, 1944, in Lewis County, Marvin was the son of the late Clevie Masters and Florence Creswell Masters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Alexander Scott Masters.

Marvin is survived by his three sons, Mike "Betty" Masters of Morehead, Eric (Judy) Masters of Wallingford, and Tyler Masters of Ohio; and one daughter, Jeannie (Bill) Enix of Vanceburg. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Additional survivors include two sisters, Ermine Hogge and Imogene Caudill, both of Morehead; many nieces and nephews; special friends he considered family, Megan Carpenter, Rose Parson, Bo Caudill, and Brian Caudill; along with other extended family and friends.

Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was one of the first security guards at St. Claire Regional Medical Center and was formerly employed as a logger with Tackett & Clark Logging. He also worked as a forklift operator for Dykes, Whitaker, and Eastern Kentucky Tobacco Warehouses.

In his free time, Marvin loved to mow and enjoyed watching his son Eric, grandson Justin, and the Branham family race on the dirt track. Most of all, he cherished spending time at Caudill's Grocery, Brooklyn Belle Market, and Certified, where he enjoyed visiting with friends. Marvin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
