Marvin "Marv" Edward Mills, Jr., age 61, of Hyatt Lane, Morehead, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024, at U.K. St. Claire Hospital in Morehead.

Born December 25, 1962, in Fairborn, Ohio, and is the son of Sharon Price Kindred of London, Ohio, and the late Marvin Edward Mills, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Mills, and one sister, Tara Hinton.

Besides his mother, Marv is survived by his wife of 33 years, Robyn Gee Mills, whom he married April 5, 1991; two sons, Jordan Mills and Jalen Mills; one daughter, Myka Mills, all of Morehead; six grandchildren, Camryn Mills, Aubree Thompson, Harper Mills, Peyton Bush, Evie Taulbee, and Isla Mills; two children Marv considered as grandchildren, Laylen Williams and Maddix Williams; extended family; and friends.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Marv retired from Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex in West Liberty and was a former employee at Frenchburg Job Corp in Menifee County. Marv enjoyed watching television, especially football and basketball, and spending time with friends and family. Most of all, he enjoyed time with his children and granddaughters. He will always be remembered and deeply missed.

At Marv's request, there will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
