Martha Jayne Waltz Richards, 71, of Worthington, KY, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, KY. Mrs. Richards was born April 20, 1942, in Morehead, KY, a daughter of the late Wilfred and Blanche Jayne Waltz. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Zach Richards, III. She graduated from Breckenridge Training School in Morehead and attended Morehead State University. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, in Morehead. Martha retired as Unit Manager from the Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, VA. Martha loved people, her pets, and life; she will be remembered as a lady and true friend. Surviving are two sons, Charles Lawrence Richards and David Zach Richards, both of Worthington, KY. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East in Greenup County, KY, by the Rev. Glenn Stephenson and Ron Reed.
