Mark "Bub" Workman, age 68, of Dry Creek Road, Clearfield, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at UK St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

He was born November 13, 1956, in Morehead, the son of Dorlena Dillon Workman of Clearfield and the late George H. Workman, who passed away February 27, 2017.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joey Alan Workman on February 19, 2022; maternal grandparents, Harlan and Conie Baldridge Dillon; paternal grandparents, Van and Mary Mann Workman; and his beloved dog Molly.

In addition to his mother, Bub is survived by one nephew, Jeremy Alan Workman and one great nephew, Jace Alan Workman, both of Clearfield, as well as extended family and friends, and his faithful dog, Faith.

Mark was a former employee of J. C. Wells Lumber Company and the Rowan County school system. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, farming, and working in tobacco and hay fields.  He loved hanging out with family and friends and being the "neighborhood Uncle" who looked after everyone and delighted in telling memories.  He attended the Upper Dry Creek Church of God and loved his church family. Bub was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Clifford "Tippy" Price and Bro. Herbert D. Lewis officiating.

Burial will follow at Dillon Cemetery on Dry Creek Road with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
