Marilyn Cyphers Rose, age 72, of Tharp Cemetery Road, Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at her home.
She was born July 1, 1951, at Washington Courthouse, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Ralph Cyphers and Juanita Cunningham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Rose "Bob" on November 1, 2022, and a son, Jason Rose.
Marilyn is survived by her devoted son, Jacob Rose and wife Victoria; and three precious grandchildren, Summer Rose, Makayla Rose, and William Owen Rose, all of Wallingford, Kentucky; two sisters, Debbie Marshall of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, and Tammy Miller of Springfield, Ohio, as well as other relatives and friends.
She was a homemaker and a former nurse's aide in Washington Courthouse and Xenia, Ohio.
Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed ceramics, her swimming pool, and raising palm trees in Kentucky, which would grow and, in the winter, she would enjoy them inside. She will forever be missed and remembered with love.
A funeral service will be held 12 noon Friday, October 27, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Arnold Howell officiating. Private burial will be in Tharp Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
Visitation for Marilyn Rose will be 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
