Marilyn Joyce Donahue Russell, age 60, of High Haven Drive, Owingsville, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born May 3, 1954, in Frenchburg, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Boone and Edna Belle Johnson Donahue. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Grant Russell, who passed away June 26, 2006, and three brothers, Gene Donahue, Bill Donahue, and Elwood Donahue. Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Ann (Clay) Reed of Owingsville; two brothers, Kenneth Donahue of Farmers, and Wayne Donahue of Salt Lick; two sisters, Rose Adkins of Morehead and Irene Donahue Roberts of Owingsville; three grandchildren, Morgan , Austin, and Addison Reed; and several nieces and nephews. Marilyn was a hairdresser for 30 years and owned and operated Marilyn's Beauty Shop in Farmers for many years. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bishop Greg Guy officiating. Burial will follow in the Russell Family Cemetery in Oliver Springs, Tennessee. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
