Margaret Rosina Tankersley Stewart, age 59, of Berea, Kentucky, formerly of Grange City, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born November 10, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of Elmer Stamper of Crab Orchard and the late Gladys Fraley Stamper. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ora Stewart on June 30, 1999, and her son, Kevin B. Stewart on September 29, 1998. In addition to her father, Margaret is survived by four sons: James Stewart, Jr. and Lisa Davis of Morehead and former wife Michelle Rau of Mason County; Chris Stewart and Christy Snedegar of Grange City, and former wife Tina Stewart of Grange City; Greg Stewart and Tonya Burton of Iowa and former wife Camberly Stewart of Bath County; Chad Stewart and Rustina Smith of Pennsylvania and former wife Mitzie Roe of Flemingsburg; and one daughter, Shearl Stewart and Gale Burke of Goddard. Also surviving are grandchildren Josh Hawkins and Amanda, Kayla Hawkins, Shelby Kissick, Micha Kissick, Ashlee Stewart, Michael Stewart, Destiny Stewart, Brian Stewart, Chelsea Stewart, Charlie Stewart, Cody Stewart, Kassy Stewart, Kara Stewart, Jordan Stewart, Loren Stewart, Paige Stewart, Carlee Brooke Stewart; and three great grandchildren, Kevin Hawkins, Summer Harmon, and Easton Harmon. In addition, she has two brothers, Homer Tankersley and Marty of Crab Orchard and Keith Stamper and Jennifer of Tennessee. Margaret retired from Berea Hospital as a certified nursing assistant. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Stamper, Rev. Adam Hawkins, and Rev. Randy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joshua Hawkins, Michael Stewart, Brian Stewart, Charlie Stewart, Cody Stewart and Jordan Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be James Stewart Jr., Chris Stewart, Greg Stewart, Chad Stewart, Gale Burke and Kevin Hawkins.
