Margaret 'Peggy' Ross Wooten, 72, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, formerly of Morehead, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014, at the Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Peggy was born June 6, 1941, in Huntington, West Virginia, a daughter of the late M. M. Ross and Evelyn Stickler Ross. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Vale Wooten. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Wooten; two sons, Charles Gregory and Sandy Wooten of San Tan Valley, Arizona, and Kenny Lee and Melanie Wooten of Muncie, Indiana; and four grandchildren, Justin, Courtney, Kenny Vale, and Kevin Lee. Other survivors include a brother, Carl and Ruth Ross of Moore Haven, Florida, and a sister, Kathy Kidd of Morehead; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Peggy retired as an inspector at Motorola in Mesa, Arizona, after 20 years of service. A member of the Assemblies of God, she was also a Sunday school teacher. Peggy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Ashley Kidd, Terry Kidd, Shawn Kidd, Matthew Kidd, Eddie Chapman, Charles Willett, Michael Ross, and Jimmy Barker. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead Visitation: Wednesday, May 7, 2014, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Thursday, May 8, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens
