Margaret Sue Crum Brown, age 81, of Lexington, formerly of Ashland, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Baptist Health in Lexington.

She was born January 9, 1944, in Elliottville, and was a daughter of the late Lemuel Crum and Olive Butts Crum.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Brown; one daughter, Brenda Brown; and several brothers and sisters.

Margaret is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Brad Pennington of Lexington; three grandchildren, Cameron Brown, Drew Pennington, and Laney Pennington; and several nieces and nephews.

Margaret was a homemaker.  Most of all, she loved her family and will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Brian Baer officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
