Margaret Dehart Cox, age 87, of Big Perry Road, Morehead, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020, at her residence.

She was born June 26, 1933, in Elliott County, a daughter of the late Levi and Vada Jones Dehart.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Midford Dehart, James Atley Dehart, Paul Dehart, and Eddie "Ed" Dehart, and two sisters, Patty Ann Dehart and Eunice Richardson.

Her husband, Lester Wayne (Bud) Cox preceded her in death on November 9, 2002, and one son, Michael Brott Cox on July 16, 2009.

Margaret is survived by two daughters, Judith Brown (Jerry) of Lexington, and Sherri Knapp (Kevin) of Belpre, Ohio; four grandchildren, Michele Deleon, Robert Brown, Miciah Knapp, and David Brown; and numerous great grandchildren.

Other survivors include one brother, Ray Dehart of Morehead; two sisters, and Virginia Rutherford,  of Mooresville, Indiana and Fern Williams of Chesapeake, Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends.

Margaret enjoyed dancing, decorating her home, caring for her flowers, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.  She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

At her request, there will be no visitation or service.
