Marcella Fannin Nickell, age 65, of U.S. 60 East, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born December 31, 1946, in Elliott County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Cecil and Made Hampton Fannin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Kay Caudill, and one brother, Eugene Hampton. Marcella is survived by her husband, Earl Nickell; two sons, Earl Nickell, Jr., and Anthony Nickell, both of Morehead, Kentucky; three daughters, Linda Little of West Liberty, Kentucky, Kathy O-Neal and Melissa Nickell, both of Morehead, Kentucky; one brother, Charles Ray Fannin of Louisa, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Marcella retired from Sealmaster after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Sharkey Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Earl Nickell, Jr., Jake Nickell, Kevin Stephens, Mike Clark, Kyle McIntosh, Barrett Francis, and Chris Bales.
