Marcella Doris Bannier Gibbons, age 70, of Ledgebrook Drive, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. She was born April 20, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Marvin and Ruby Fessler Bannier. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Bannier, and one son, Jeffrey Salgado. Marcella is survived by her husband, Vincent Lee Gibbons; one daughter, Tracy Salgado of Libertyville, Illinois; two stepdaughters, Michelle S. Gibbons of Caro, Michigan, and Judy Osterberg of Jackson, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Jillian, Jarett and Jonathon Osterberg and Steven, Michael, Jeffery Jr. and Crissy Salgado; and two great grandchildren, Tristan Underwood and Lilly Salgado. Also surviving are one sister, Sandy Malouf of Palatine, Illinois, and two brothers, Keith Bannier of Round Lake, Illinois, and Donald Bannier of Chicago, Illinois. Marcella retired from Hillside Currency as manager and was a member of the Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Paul Prabell officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
