Marcelean Stevens Gosper, 80, of Morehead, went to be with the Lord, January 6, 2022.

She was born August 4, 1941, in Morehead and was the daughter of late Albert and Nellie (Pelfrey) Stevens of Morehead. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Lee Stevens and David Albert Stevens, and two sisters, Thelma Jean Skaggs and Rena Bell Clark.

She is survived by a sister, Shirley Ann Wells; a son, Richard Brian Stevens; a daughter, Rebecca Lynn Gosper; two grandsons Samuel Ryan Stevens and Landon Kirk Foster; as well as several nieces and nephews, and many cousins, who she loved dearly.

Marcie was an employee of Allen's IGA for many years, then moved on to work at C & C Meat Distributors, then finished her career with Highwall Drilling.

Marcie had many friends and her dearest friend, Jeanette Burbank. Her favorite thing to do was visiting with friends and family and talking the day away. She loved being outdoors, whether it was gardening her flowers or reading a book on her swing. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandsons.

At her request, there will be no services held.
