Mae Davis Cole, age 91, of State Hwy. 174, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012, at her residence. She was born January 18, 1921, in Ironton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Burton and Retha Archer Davis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Cole on February 20, 1968, and a daughter, Emma Maggard on May 24, 2002. Mrs. Cole is survived by two daughters, Lucille Conn of Morehead, Kentucky, and Wilma Puckett and husband Clayton of Olive Hill, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Cole was a homemaker and enjoyed attending church, going for long drives, talking on the phone, and visiting with family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Rex Segraves and Brother Robbie Puckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Manning Chapel Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
