Olive Madge Fannin Nantz, age 71, of Whitaker Street, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born December 17, 1941, in Elliott County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Clell and Nancy Jane Simmons Fannin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Lambert. Madge is survived by her husband of 41 years, Olen Nantz, whom she married March 31, 1972; two sons, Delmer (Rhonda) Hall, and Robert (Sandy Cline) Hall, all of Morehead, Kentucky; two daughters, Vicki (Paul) Anderson of Morehead, Kentucky, and Pamela Hall Evans of Nicholasville, Kentucky; two step children, Connie (Denny) Pace of Harlan, Kentucky, and Brian Nantz of Morehead, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren Also surviving are three brothers, Paul Fannin of Spring Lake, North Carolina, Herman Fannin of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, and Harold Fannin of Morehead, Kentucky; three sisters, Ruby Dixon of Springfield, Ohio, Nancy Cooley and Clara Bell Taylor, both of Morehead, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. Madge was the owner and operator of the Dixie Grill for 12 years and assistant manager for Holiday Inn in Morehead. She was a member of the House of Prayer. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Winston McClurg and Brother Joe Cline officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Randall J. Bills, Jason Vivian, Justin Cristello, Chris Hall, Matt Hall, and Mike Cooley.
